Highlight of Vacation! After checking in and getting our equipment, we had the best day snorkeling!! It was awesome! And everyone else on the ship was jealous of our fantastic day This was an amazing day and the only thing I'd do if I return to Freeport. Thanks Barry and staff!!
I didn't want to leave paradise! I have visited Deadman's Reef four times and each time was as exciting as the first. last week the sea turtles were feeding in the grass beds landward of the reef.
Excellent excursion visit from a cruise! The workers are dedicated to making sure you are safe and have a good time seeing what there is to see. It was amazing and accommodating and calm. Not commercialized. Authentic. Food, bathroom facilities are clean. Rentals available, boat rides available for $10 for 2 people to the reef, 5 for each additional person.
self booked excursion. great snorkeling. friendly staff ! Upon arrival we were processed by friendly staff, and directed to an adjacent shack for snorkel gear. after a brief instruction we went out into the beautiful crystal clear water. about 100 yards offshore, in mostly knee to waist deep water was deadpans reef. there was a pass between 2 reefs, and if you snorkeled through the pass, the water got deeper quickly, and the fish got bigger.
